Originally I had to look at this for an assignment in my math class. However, this site has quickly become my new Pinterest (side note - everyone should have one), when looking for new mathematics activities. This website offers free resources, games and activities for teachers to use in their classroom. These resources are aligned with the Common Core Standards for Mathematics! This website is organized by grade and mathematic subject, which makes it easy to search and explore different ways to teach math. As a teacher, it is important to make math lessons valuable, but enjoyable. I don’t need to search many different websites, most of the information is right here. In addition, there are also books that can be read to students for further comprehension. I like how this site appreciates and understands that having students complete math worksheets is not a way to learn. Yes, it might work for some students, however, it definitely does not work for everyone. This website incorporate different subjects into this website. I recommend this site to literally any Elementary School teacher. The link to this site can also be found in my "pages" section. Happy exploring!
